Off the Block announces launch of new website, Facebook page, Twitter account

Off the Block will have a new home in the upcoming days.

Readers of Off the Block now have the opportunity to get a sneak-peak at the new website before it officially launches later next week by clicking on this link.

There will be some noticeable differences on this new website that will allow volleyball fans to more easily find information about their team.

The website provides better navigation tools for viewers ranging from a website search engine to sub-pages dedicated to each of the three major conferences. In addition, the shorter website address will make to easier for viewers and fans to remember url for Off the Block.

Despite the website changes, this does not mean a change in mission statements for Off the Block. The website will continue to focus on Division I-II men’s volleyball news and analysis.

There will also be greater opportunities through the new website for fans to interact with Off the Block via Facebook and Twitter.

Along with the website, Off the Block is officially launching its new Facebook fan page ( and a new Twitter account ( A live stream of the both the Facebook and Twitter accounts will be visible on the new website’s home page.

These accounts will not only help keep fans informed of the latest Off the Block stories, but also gives readers an opportunity to interact with Off the Block and other volleyball fans about the latest volleyball buzz.

These changes will give Off the Block a greater number of ways to reach more men’s volleyball fans when the 2012 season begins in January. Everything from providing video coverage to real-time live coverage of matches can more accessible to readers on this website.
